Back to School with A Spring in Their Step

September 8, 2008 / 8 Elul 5768

At the beginning of the week, hundreds of immigrant children from Jewish Agency absorption centers started the new school year. Among them were 300 children who were welcomed into first grade.

The Jewish Agency, as it did last year, will make efforts to support the weak students, advance the outstanding ones and to allow everyone to discover their abilities via the YESODOT program.

The YESODOT Program is a comprehensive package of after-school enrichment programs aimed at facilitating the successful integration of Ethiopian children into Israeli society.

YESODOT offers today’s Ethiopian children a more positive and enriching future. By bolstering their educational experience, YESODOT truly transforms the landscape of Israeli society. To learn more about how you can help, click here.
