Ukrainian Attack Victim Has Family in Israel

August 30, 2005

(IsraelNN.com) Israel Foreign Ministry officials reported that one of two yeshiva students targeted in an anti-Semitic attack by skinheads in Ukraine has family in Israel.

Officials report the victim, Mordechai Gavriel Chaim’s mother and sister are living in Israel and they have been notified of the attack and his injuries by ministry officials.

The report adds the Jewish Agency for Israel is working towards assisting the family members, making arrangements to fly them to the Ukraine where Mordechai is reported in very serious condition.
