400 Israeli Volunteers Receive Yakir Klita Award
Yakir Klita Awarded to 400 Israelis

May 29, 2006 / 2 Sivan 5766

At a ceremony held in Petach Tikva on Sunday, 400 Israelis, who volunteer in the field of immigrant absorption, received Yakir Klita certificates from Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielski and Co-Chair of the Jewish Agency’s Immigration and Absorption Committee, Arieh Azoulay.

Yakir Klita (Distinguished Service Award) is an honorary distinction for voluntary service in immigrant absorption. It is awarded annually on a regional and national level, drawing public attention to the volunteers' work and giving them the credit they deserve.
