The Milwaukee Jewish Federation Renovates Schools in the North

Representatives of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation recently arrived to evaluate plans to renovate three schools thanks to the community's contribution to Israel.  The representatives first visited the two schools in Tiberias, Noam and Kinar, which were apparently in need of urgent repair.  The representatives conveyed their satisfaction over the decision to share in the cost of repairs. They were warmly received by the pupils in both schools.

The Federation will also fund repairs on a school in Kibbutz Ravid. In total, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation contributed $325,000 from IEC funds to repair these three schools.  The repairs will be performed in cooperation with IDB and the Ministry of Education.
