A music conservatory was dedicated in the City of Acre thanks to the assistance of the Seiden Family.
Norman and Barbara Seiden of New Jersey have contributed toward 16 projects, which were funded through the Israel Education Fund of the Jewish Agency. These projects include kindergartens, day care centers, a library and a music center. Each of their projects marks a contribution to celebrate the birth of one of their grandchildren and bears the grandchild's name. Recently, Mr. and Mrs. Seiden made a generous contribution towards the establishment of the Seiden Municipal Music Conservatory in Acre. On June 2, the conservatory was dedicated in the presence of Norman Seiden and family members from the United States and Israel.

The building was dedicated in a ceremony that included the unveiling of the donors' plaque and the affixing of a mezuzah. A youth orchestra appeared in honor of the guests, as did a youth choir and young musicians, all students of the conservatory. The entire family was enthralled by the quality of the musicianship and by the aesthetics of the building. This conservatory undoubtedly constitutes the supreme achievement in the philanthropy of Norman and Barbara Seiden. May they enjoy many happy years together.
