The development of Israel's strategic regions is a high priority for the leaders from the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

During  their visit last week, they descended to Arad in the Negev, to witness the program being funded through its support, 'Garin Arad,' in action. Beyond  learning about the unique demographic challenges confronting this city from Mayor Gideon Bar Lev, the group also met with newly settled Aradians whose ideology and passion have brought them to the region.

The community and their Jewish Agency partners are looking forward to continuing to watch the program as it unfolds and develops.
