Sandy Koufax (1935 - )

Koufax was too young to fight in any war. He was the youngest player ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He also won three Cy Young Awards and pitched four no-hitters. The fourth no-hitter, against Chicago, was also a perfect game (no player reached first base). Like Hank Greenberg, Koufax was proud of his Jewish heritage and refused to play on Yom Kippur.

    Score: 25. You're kidding!
