Don Isaac Abarbanel (Spain) philosopher, financier, and scholar. As the Spanish Minister of Finance, he interceded many times on behalf of his fellow Jews. Fluent in many languages, he also held important positions in both Venice and Naples. His biblical commentaries cover the major and minor Prophets.
