Slim Jim ruled the Upper West Side of New York as well as the financial district. He was imprisoned 3 times for breaking and entering. Legend has it that on his last conviction, the Judge offered him a parole if he would just show how he broke into an "impregnable safe". He refused. His last whereabouts was supposedly somewhere in Florida.
