Miriam Zecharia desperately wanted to study at university, but didn’t want to financially burden her parents. Through the Jewish Agency's Atidim program, Miriam is able to combine her army service with earning an academic degree and a teacher's certificate, thereby, also playing a role in securing the future of other Israeli children.
