Lending A Hand

North American youth visiting Israel on an NCSY tour joined with Migdal Ohr campers to paint bomb shelters used by the schools in Kfar Maimon. Together the Sderot and American youth painted cartoon characters and flowers on the buildings. The buildings now have a cheerful facade and new friendships were formed over a can of paint.
Kfar Maimon is within the range of Kassam missiles and these new protective structures arrived this week in case there is a red alert during the school year.
The North American youth on the NCSY program took time off from touring the country
to assist the Sderot campers on this important project.
