- There are four ways of giving charity:
One who gives but does not want others to give - he looks with an evil eye upon others (as giving charity makes a person richer, and he does not want others to get richer).
- One who encourages others to give but does not himself give - he looks with an evil eye upon himself.
- One who gives and encourages others to give - a righteous person.
- On who neither gives nor encourages others to give - an evil person.
