Session: Creating Long Term Impact

Often, after years of investment in P2K, many of our partners reflect and ask, "What has our impact been on our community and/or region? What can we pinpoint as our contribution to our communities?"

In this session we focused on our successes and challenges in creating programs that have had long term impact on both sides of the ocean.

The program began with two examples of P2K programs that have been designed to create a significant long term impact bringing people together toward a common goal and creating a sense of accomplishment, meaning and purpose as partners in global Jewish partnership.

The discussion in this workshop emphasized both the number of participants reached through the programs and the depth and range of impact on the individual or group. Some of the points raised in the discussion about programs with long term impact, were that programs should have various points of entry & the need for patience since impact is not necessarily immediate and can happen over time.
