With no let up in the carnage on Israel’s highways, fourteen students at Ramat Hadassah Szold have completed a training course for volunteer traffic police.
Having graduated from the course the students are now volunteering each week to work as traffic police assistants.
The course is part of the village’s Green Light program, which strives to teach the students better habits as both pedestrians and in years to come as drivers.
One of the students has already passed his driving test.
