Jaap Meijers serves on the Executive of Keren Hayesod.  He is a former  member of its World Board of Trustees and a former National Chairman of Dutch Keren Hayesod.

In 1993 he headed the Dutch delegation to the 14th Maccabiah Games.  He currently serves on the board of the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam and is Vice-Chairman of the Feuerstein Foundation, an institute which supports children with learning disabilities.

 

Jaap Meijers is CEO of a large insurance brokerage and is chairman of Worldwide Broker Network, a network of independent brokers in more than 70 countries.  He lives in Amsterdam.

 

Jaap served as a member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since June 1999 through 2004. Since then he serves as an Associate Member of the Board. He served in the past as Co-Chair of the Control & Audit Committee and now serves as Co-Chair of the Insurance Committee.
