Ady Gai served as Rosh Ha'Ayin's City Engineer until 2004. Now he serves as Lev Hasharon Regional Council's Engineer. He is an associate in an Architects firm and also teaches architecture. In the 90's Mr. Gai served as the Jewish Agency shaliach to South America and served as acting regional manager there.
His public activities include a short emissary to Argentina in the period of the large-scale Aliyah form Argentina in 2002; he served as a member of the local Council of Mevasseret Zion; he served as a member of the Harel Local Committee for Planning; and also Chaired the Ideological Committee of the World Zionist Labor Movement.
Prior to his Aliyah to Israel from Chile in 1981, Ady Gai served as Head of the Organization for Jewish Students in Chile. He was elected as a member of the Board of Governors on June 2006.
