Ms. Tova Ben Dov is the Chair of the Executive of World WIZO. She was born in Tel Aviv, studied at the Lewinsky College for Education. She served the army as a teacher and as the assistant to the IDF Education Officer and studied Political Science in Tel Aviv University.
In 1965 Ben Dov joined WIZO and initiated activities in areas of distress. In 1971 she was elected a member of the Executive of WIZO Israel and served as the Chair of women's training. She developed and expanded courses for women in WIZO branches and established guiding and advising centers.
After the war of Yom Kippur, she worked with the Ministry of Defense. In 1975 she was part of the campaign for WIZO membership in Britain. Ms. Ben Dov filled several positions in WIZO, such as Chair of Public Relations; Chair of the Assets, Buildings and Development; Vice Chair of Fund Raising and Treasurer of World WIZO and Vice Chair of the Executive.
Ben Dov spent three years mission in South Africa. She established new WIZO groups there and acted in fund raising. During her stay she studied business administration. In 1997 she also graduated a course of entrepreneurs and real-estate directors in the Tel Aviv University.
She is an Associate-Member of the Board since October 2004.
